Mission Hills Ranch is a neighborhood in the beach community of San Juan Capistrano, California known for its many horse trails, and equestrian properties.
Mission Hills Ranch is located in the San Juan North area and features a variety of one, and two story detached homes. This neighborhood was built in the late 1960s, and offers a variety of floor plans. The smallest, the Voyager, has three bedrooms, two baths, a two-car garage, and 2,228 square feet. The largest, the Pathfinder, has five bedrooms three, baths, a three-car garage, and 3,040 square feet.
There are 53 homes with amenities including a swimming pool, and heated spa. The Home Owners Association dues cover two tennis courts, 17 acres of open space, a clubhouse, and an equestrian center with arena, and stables.
Residents are close to major freeways, medical services, stores, restaurants, and the beaches. There are several excellent shopping centers including Marbella Plaza, Plaza Del Obispo Shopping Center, Plaza Del Rio Shopping Center, and Ocean View Plaza.
The award winning Capistrano Unified School District serves this area with highly ranked facilities like Harold Ambuehl Elementary School, Marcos Forster Middle School, and San Juan High School. There are also several private schools in this city including Serra Catholic High School, and Saddleback Valley Christian School. Mission Parish School is located next to the Mission grounds and uses some it’s historic buildings for classrooms
San Juan Capistrano began its home building around the turn of the century and still sees quite a bit of growth today. This city is known for the Mission San Juan Capistrano which was founded in 1776 as well as the San Juan Mission Swallows who once migrated to this area from Argentina.
